The packing of a vehicle

There is a belief amongst some of those dearest to me that being able to 'properly' pack a vehicle has nothing to do ability. It is, in fact, determined before birth. Actually, quite soon after conception. It is an innate skill possessed by about half the world's population. I am not among that half.

I've always been a bit dubious of personal development plans. However, recently I've been thinking that I need to broaden my skill set. What I need is leadership skills. I need to motivate my team. I want enthusiastic, committed and skilled people who are working for a common purpose. Basically, I want to get out the door in the morning...

New year, new tools...

New year, new tools... and we're bonding. Last weekend was the maiden voyage to the markets for the van avec fridge and it worked brilliantly. Arriving home, I backed the van down the drive ready to unload just those items for the family fridge....

Rachel's summer holiday

On my holiday I took lots of lovely trips out... to amenities all over the city. The junior recipe testers, a blessed group, all with bladders the size of peanuts, cannot go longer than about seven minutes without someone needing relief. So while other families enjoyed ferry rides, lego exhibitions, and water parks of many kinds we enjoyed long searches for the near, or not so near, convenience....
