Time to build...

Deciding to renovate or move is not something to be taken lightly. Doing both might cause one to permanently don their pyjamas and rock in the corner. Well, dust off those onesies, because that's exactly what we're doing.

Over the past few years Dinner on the Table has expanded in very exciting ways. To cope with our growth, we have operated from multiple sites. We have packed and repacked, bought more shelving and repacked again. We have tried clinging from the light fittings. We have faced the truth:

We no longer fit into our current kitchen.

And so our big news is: we're moving! And renovating! In the coming months we will be moving into a new warehouse with a brand new kitchen in it - and we wanted to tell you first. The plans are drawn, the builder is primed and ready. And we hope to share this exciting journey with you. 

For those who regularly visit us in Castle Hill, we are not moving far (still in Castle Hill). Too far to move our ovens without significant assistance, but, you know, not very far away. We're so excited about it we sometimes have trouble sleeping (or is that the stress of moving that causes insomnia...).

But we'd love to keep you updated on our progress (and invite you to our housewarming when we move in - stay tuned!)

In the meantime we're certainly going to keep on cooking! But now we'll cook with the great satisfaction of knowing that one day our expansion will have the space it needs. A bit like undoing your waist band button after a big dinner. You can breathe a sigh of relief!
