Beef Lasagne (Frozen)
Let's be really honest. Lasagne is delicious. But few of us have time to make it... it's got too many individual components (and it creates a lot of washing up!)
This dinner is the classic version: slow cooked bolognese sauce, layered with pasta and topped with béchamel sauce and parmesan cheese.
When madness looms large on the horizon (work overtime, additional music practices, sporting finals) it is a great meal to have on standby in the freezer too. It cooks beautifully straight from the freezer, or defrost overnight in the fridge before putting it in the oven.
Suitable for a low sodium version.
Ingredients: Beef mince, tinned tomatoes, milk, red wine, vegetable stock (housemade), onion, celery, tomato paste, butter, plain flour, pasta, parmesan cheese, cornflour, garlic, thyme, bay leaf, salt, white pepper, nutmeg
Low sodium version does not contain stock, salt, parmesan cheese
