With St Patrick's Day looming on the horizon and the vague hope that the humidity will eventually abate and cooler days ensue, we thought it time for a nod to the Irish.

When I was a child, the grand-matron recipe tester (aka Mum) used to cook something like this. When our Head Chef suggested, and then cooked, this it took me immediately back to my childhood home. Funny how food can trigger memories in a way that nothing else can.

What you really need to know is that we slow cook premium free-range lamb and veggies in a rich, delicious flavoured gravy. You reheat gently, cook some rice, mash a spud or steam some peas and dinner is on the table.

Heating instructions

Defrost overnight in the fridge. Heat on the stovetop or microwave until piping hot.
