Pulled Pork & Coleslaw (Fresh)
Pulled pork, for the uninitiated, is spiced pork (just a hint of chilli) slow roasted until it falls apart into delicious strands. When the junior recipe testers were very little, and there was only two of them, the youngest was heard to instruct her older brother to eat the meat on his plate. Why? Because it's nice and soft.
This has become part of our family venacular, but let's face it: it's not the way you necessarily want your meals described, until you reach a certain age and are forced to eat your meat soft and your teeth in a jar beside the bed.
With this meal you'll receive two packages: one with the pork which only needs to be warmed up. In the second, the coleslaw will be ready for pouring onto a waiting plate or bowl. In the salad package you'll find (separately packaged) dressing.
Suitable for a low sodium version. Pork, and salad are gluten free.
Ingredients: Pork, apple juice, olive oil, garlic, brown sugar, salt, ground fennel, pepper, coriander, cumin, smoked paprika, chilli. Salad: Cabbage, carrot, spring onion, mayonnaise.
