Pork & Fennel Ragu
I have been learning about ragu. "Ragu" in Italian cuisine means "a sauce commonly served with pasta". "Ragout", on the other hand (pronounced the same way), in French cuisine means "a sauce commonly used to dress pasta". Oh and, FYI, 'ragu' and 'ragout' are etymologically related. ....Que???
Whether you prefer to serve or dress your pasta is entirely up to you. This could well be related to whether or not you 'dish up' your dinner or, after watching far too many popular TV cooking shows you now find yourself 'plating up'.
Either way, the same sauce will arrive on your table. We'll deliver it to your home frozen, ready for you to reheat.
Slow cooked veggies (somewhat hidden, in case that's of use to you), premium quality pork sausage mince, fennel and oregano in a rich tomato-based sauce. Serve or dress at whim.
May contain traces of gluten.
