Beef and Guinness Stew (Frozen)
The senior recipe tester cooked something like this recently. The night was cold and the wind was foul, and it was hearty, warming and supremely delicious. It brought back memories of something my mum used to cook and call "Irish Stew".
What you really need to know is that we slow cook premium beef and veggies in a rich, delicious Irish flavoured gravy. You reheat gently, cook some rice, mash a spud or steam some peas and dinner is on the table.
Ingredients: Beef, tomatoes, carrot, Guinness, onion, celery, flour, rosemary, thyme, bay leaf, salt, pepper
