Matriciana Pasta Sauce (Frozen)
This is one of my go-to I-need-a-quick-dinner dinners. It is also one of those pasta sauces that seems to embody everything that I love about Italian eating: tomatoes, wine, garlic, herbs... and bacon.
But we've done the work for you in this case. This sauce only needs to be defrosted and heated (which can be achieved in a microwave in mere minutes). It will go beautifully with our ricotta gnocchi, or with your favourite pasta of any shape or persuasion.
